Linear structures

Environmental surveying of linear structures e.g. transmission lines, roads & railways is a specialized sub-discipline of EIA's and requires a team of highly experienced field biologists.

Coal mining is wide-spread across Mpumalanga. With the constant need for expansion and development of new mining areas, EIA’s need to be performed regularly. Enviro-Insight loves the Highveld, just take a look at some of our finds from a recent project (EIA for a coal mining company near Belfast)
We’re back from Liberia!
Enviro-Insight has been working in Liberia for the month of September 2012 and more recently in January 2013. The projects involved several sites in heavily forested areas. We found many interesting animals and are now furiously writing the massive reports required for these projects. Once the reports are public we’ll be able to she photos and experiences.

New reptile species discovered!

Enviro-Insight has discovered a reptile species previously unknown to science! This incredibly exciting discovery was made a year ago but we’ve only just finalized the scientific paper describing this species. Once we’ve published this we will be sure to post photos and links of relevance. So stay tuned by “Liking” our Facebook page for all the latest updates!
